Fernando de Vilallonga Rossell
In 1978, the founder of the Company, Fernando de Vilallonga Rossell decided to build our headquarters in Mas Parés, a former 14th century manor house located in the municipality of Brunyola.
His love for great cuisine and his links with French culture led him to set up the first Foie Gras business in Spain, approved by the EU.
Directed in those early years by the brothers Esteve and Jaume Juher (Director of the R+D+I department).
Who are we?
At Mas Parés, we are proud to have a management team, led by our CEO Santiago de Vilallonga together with his partner Fernando de Vilallonga and a powerful R+D+I team who have been the driving force behind the development and growth of the company since its inception.
Our Director of R+D+I, Jaume Juher, has led the department responsible for creating new products for the last 25 years, having won 12 international awards for innovation.
He has also trained and transmitted his extensive knowledge and experience to his team, who guarantee successful continuity in the launch of innovative new products.

La Masia
“Mas Parés”
Mas Parés is an old 14th-century farmhouse that gives its name to our duck and goose derived products. This farmhouse has been owned by the ancestors of our founder for 16 generations.
